I recently returned from another visit to The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This time I made my reservation through the Fine Hotels & Resorts program and the experience was absolutely incredible. I have stayed at The Towers many times in the past and the level of service and attention to detail are always second to none, but the FH&R benefits take the experience to an entirely different level.

Upon arrival, I was informed of all FH&R benefits and given vouchers for both my $100 spa credit and complimentary breakfast. The hotel was incredibly full during my stay, so an upgrade was not available, but I can honestly say that every room in which I have ever stayed at this property has been perfect and this one was certainly no exception. One of my favorite things about The Towers is that almost every room is unique and it is always exciting to see the different layouts and views of the city. This particular room, 3404, was an incredibly spacious luxury king room overlooking Park Avenue. I also had a second room during this stay which was on the 31st floor and featured very nice views of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church.
Having stayed at The Towers in the past, I was familiar with the light breakfast which is served in the lounge on the 26th floor. The FH&R experience, however, includes a complimentary full breakfast buffet in Oscar’s Brasserie which is located just down the stairs from the main lobby of the Waldorf Astoria. Needless to say, I spend quite a lot of time in hotels and I have seen almost every type of breakfast that is offered. That being said, I must admit that the buffet at Oscar’s is one of the best, offering everything from lighter options such as fresh fruit, pastries and smoothies to a full selection of hot items consisting of eggs, meats, potatoes and made to order omelettes. This benefit alone is more than enough reason to book with FH&R.
Another amenity offered when booking through FH&R is the $100 spa credit which may be used at any time throughout your stay. Guerlain Spa is located on the 19th floor and offers just about every type of spa service imaginable which makes it the perfect place to relax after a busy day in the city.
As always, the experience at The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria was top notch and the Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits only added to the high level of quality and service that make this hotel one of the best in Manhattan. I am currently planning my next visit to The Towers and you can be assured that all of my future stays will be booked through the Fine Hotels & Resorts program.
